Skyler’s approach to therapy is best described as: “I am like a flashlight in a dark forest. I can show you where you’ve been, where you are, and where you can go, but I am just a resource. Ultimately, you decide if you want to utilize the tools given to you or not. You’re doing the work. I’m just here to help you along the way.”

Skyler takes an eclectic approach to counseling by implementing CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, Gestalt practices, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, art therapy, mind-fullness practices, Adlerian therapy, feminist therapy, and psycho-education techniques.

In her free time Skyler likes to be outdoors hiking and camping, to swim and rock climb, and spend time with friends and family. Skyler is also a photographer and loves capturing the special moments of life.
